Patricia (Trish) Bass founded Lewis Bass International Engineering Services, Inc., an engineering consulting company, after serving for four years as Director of Sales and seven years as V.P. of Administration with Lewis Bass International, a safety law firm. Ms. Bass brings over 20 years of sales training, management and administrative expertise to LBI Engineering Services.
Ms. Bass has put together a team of technical, legal and business development professionals to provide safety services to clients worldwide. Her company services the high tech, solar, and medical devices industries, industrial machinery manufacturers, as well as Product Liability prevention. LBI Eng. Svcs. is registered with the U.S. government as a woman owned business, with CRR as a registered federal contractor, and with almost every jurisdiction in California as a registered Field Evaluation Body.
Currently, Ms. Bass is past Secretary of the local chapter of the IEEE/PSES, a member of NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners), a member of Watermark, and oversees the Lewis Bass Scholarship for Illiteracy.
Doug Snow provides engineering project management for projects that require design and review services from concept through project completion. He works with owners, design/build contractors for commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, and petrochemical projects. Mr. Snow is responsible for helping clients with the design, specification, and review of: medium- (5/12kV) and low-voltage (<600V) power distribution, lighting, feeder and branch circuiting, standby and emergency power generation and distribution, Title-24 lighting and energy management systems, low-voltage (<50V) systems including process control, life safety, hazgas, communication (voice/data) and security.
Doug Snow reviews and stamps all reports requiring a wet stamp.
Pete Perkins holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Portland, and MSEE from Oregon State University and is licensed as a Professional Electrical Engineer in the State of Oregon. Mr. Perkins applies over 30 years experience to the business of product safety and regulations, with expertise in machine safety, European CE Marking requirements, US Code conformance, Field Labeling and SEMI standards. He specializes in product regulatory compliance and is a safety specialist.
Chris Kilgus holds a BS in Physics from the State University of New York. He conducts SEMI S2 and 3rd Party Electrical and CE evaluations for various semiconductor and manufacturing companies. He helps clients meet compliance with regards to the California Electric Code, National Electric Code as well as with Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations.
He has worked on a variety equipment including high voltage and high power supplies, semiconductor processing and test equipment, UPS systems and utility metering.
Mr. Kilgus is a versatile hands-on engineer, with considerable experience in design and RF. He provides technical knowledge and expertise about the codes for other engineers regarding machine safety, proper safety label requirements, proper wiring practices for equipment and schematics and reviews of documentation and construction.
Andrew Ksenzulak is a 21 year Coast Guard veteran, where he conducted numerous inspections of different types: CBCA, Intermodal, and Vessel Systems enforcing against the written standard. He performed QA / QC on unique highly specialized equipment within the CG for 13 years. He acted as the safety officer and ensured maintenance protocol was strictly adhered to on highly sophisticated equipment. Andrew performs 3rd Party Field Safety Evaluations to NFPA standards on unlisted machinery to satisfy permit requirements by local jurisdictions.
Amandeep Sandhu holds a B.S in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and a M.S in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Ms Sandhu experience includes working for a compliance testing lab that provides Safety, EMI/EMC, Reliability, Telecommunication and Engineering test services. Her experience also includes working in the medical arena where she performed functional tests on the RMA devices, conducted root cause analysis, analyzed field complaints and present data and trends in weekly management review. She also drafted test protocols, reports and technical memos as well as functional testing. Aman oversees all projects to ensure completion and quick turnaround of reports. She also works directly with client’s management in meeting all deadlines.
Senior Field Technician
Tito Santiago’s education and strong background is in Electronic Engineering Technology. He has global product support background in the Semiconductor industry. He has been project manager and factory manager for the semiconductor wafer segment. Tito does all safety reviews of equipment, 3rd Party Field Labeling and supports S2’s and CE Marking. His field work includes helping clients get the fastest results for any safety/testing requirements by guiding them in correct equipment assessments. This has saved clients both time and money in reaching deadlines.
Dean Ruzic has worked in the Semiconductor, Industrial and Retail industries and has full knowledge of all of their equipment’s expected functions. He has worked in troubleshooting and maintenance of all types of equipment. Dean performs 3rd Party Field Electrical Safety evaluations to NFPA standards on unlisted machinery to satisfy permit requirements by local jurisdictions.
